We welcome most dogs and carefully assess each one to ensure a safe and happy environment. In rare cases, we may not be the best fit for certain dogs if we feel their needs would be better met elsewhere.
-
Yes we do! Our daycare has a limit of 8 dogs per day to ensure each dog receives the attention and care they deserve. For overnight stays, we can accommodate up to 3 dogs at a time.
-
We understand that not all dogs get along, especially with certain breeds or same-sex dogs. Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priority. If we notice any conflicts, we’ll start by separating them to keep everyone safe. However, because managing all the dogs at once can be stressful for them and us, it’s often better to swap days with the other dog if possible. Please let us know in advance if your dog has specific preferences or issues, so we can plan the best schedule for them.
-
We take extra care with anxious or shy dogs to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. During our initial meeting together, we’ll assess their behaviour and needs. If your dog is anxious or shy, we introduce them to other dogs more slowly and carefully to help them adjust at their own pace. In our experience, once dogs start coming here regularly, their anxiety often eases very quickly, and they become much more confident and social over time. Letting us know about their temperament in advance helps us create the best experience for them.
-

Dog care & safety
-
We prioritize the safety and well-being of every dog in our care by maintaining a secure, supervised, and stress-free environment. Here’s how we ensure their safety:
• Supervised Care: All dogs are closely monitored throughout their stay to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
• Secure Spaces: Our daycare is fully enclosed with secure fencing and controlled access to prevent escapes and unauthorized entries.
• Behaviour Assessments: We evaluate each dog’s temperament to ensure compatibility with the group, creating a safe and positive environment for everyone.
• Small Group Sizes: We limit the number of dogs we care for at one time to provide personalized attention and reduce stress or overcrowding.
• Clean and Safe Facilities: Our spaces are cleaned regularly with pet-safe products to ensure a hygienic environment.
-

I always supervise the dogs closely to prevent fights, but if an altercation does happen, I separate the dogs immediately to ensure everyone’s safety. I’ll assess the situation, let you know what happened, and take care of any injuries if needed. In some cases, we may need to change your dog’s daycare days to avoid future issues. Your dog’s safety is always my priority, and I’ll work with you to decide the best next steps.

I take every precaution to make sure your dog is safe and secure while they’re here. If for any reason your dog escapes the premises, I will immediately contact you and take action to retrieve them as quickly as possible. I’ll also assess the situation to prevent it from happening again.
